French Grain Sack Tutorial

I've wanted to jump on the whole French grain sack band wagon to add a little pizazz to my decor.

I liked this idea of covering a chair. (image from countryliving.com)

And I thought about making pillows like these from bliss-interiors.net.

You can't have too many cute dish towels. I found these at Teresa Sheeley Designs via etsy.

I like DIY projects that are inexpensive. Many of the tutorial I saw out in the blog world require the purchase of somewhat pricey (by my standard) images. Tonight I stumbled on this fantastic tutorial by Kelly at Till Death do us Part. In it she shares how she created this French table runner downloading FREE vintage/French inspired clip art graphics from The Graphics Fairy. Didn't Kelly do such a great job? Her tutorial is easy to follow too. Jump on over to her site and decide what project you're ready to tackle.

  3. Alison, this exact clip art was found under the "French" category at graphics fairy. You could also type "Cacao" in their 'search this blog' engine. Happy Crafting!
